Go on a bike adventure with us. We have 4 Canyon Dude fatbikes for rent. Our guide will take you on your desired adventure in Rovaniemi. With us You can enjoy nature and the beatiful scenery while we choose a right track for You.
For longer trips we can attach Vaude´s frame bags to the bikes and pack the bikes into a trailer, so we can make an adventure even Pallas-Ylläs or Pyhä-Luosto national parks.
Guided fatbike tours are available year around, see available times in our booking calendar.
In winter time, we enjoy moving in nature, also skiing. We have 3 pairs of OAC skin-based skis with a professional guide. Our guide has been trained in alpine skiing and cross-country skiing by Suomen hiihdonopettajat ry and has decades of experience with skis, so on our trips you can get expert guidance on the correct use of skis if you want.
According to the wishes of the group, we do excursions either right near the center of Rovaniemi or we travel by car to Pyhä-Luosto or Pallas-Yllästunture national parks. See available times in our booking calendar.
Have you ever tried challenging yourself in the abseiling?
Our guide, trained as a rope activity instructor, has a long experience, especially in climbing training for children and young people. With him, you can safely set off to challenge your own limits in the descent.
The primary destination is Hiidenkirnut in the Rovaniemi area, and the service is available with a weather reservation from May to the end of October. See available times in our booking calendar.
Would you be interested in the basics of Off Piste skiing (freeriding) ?
We have guides for both first-timers and those who have already tried the freeriding a little. Our guides have both ski instructor training and snow safety training (FINLAV) and personal experiences of Off Piste skiing (freeriding) in the fells and mountains of Finland, Sweden and Norway.
Our Off Piste skiing (freeriding) trips go either to the fells of the Pyhä-Luosto area or to the fells of the Pallas-Ylläs area, where we have lots of days of experience to share. Freeride tours are car trips, including full-day tours. If necessary, we assist in renting equipment. Have you dreamed of a long winter skiing trip?
Our guide has training as a outdoor guide and decades of first-hand experience in Lapland, both summer and winter hikes.
Winter hikes are planned together with customers. These trips are tailored according to the customer group and, if necessary, we use our own networks for equipment and transport arrangements. Have you ever surfed in the snow?
No problem, neither do many others. However, if you are interested, please get in touch and an event will be arranged. In this sport, the conditions determine the enjoyment of the experience, so these tours are tailored to suit the conditions.
Snowsurfing trials are organized as a rule in the vicinity of Rovaniemi at easy destinations, where I will drive you by car and, if necessary, we will move to the destination with OAC skinbased skis. Those who are willing will go on a day-long trip to Pyhä-Luosto National Park, where you can find a lot of versatile things to do. Do you need just a fatbike for rent without a guide?
We have 4 Canyon Dude fatbikes (2 x M size and 2 x L size). The rental includes a helmet, a lock and, if necessary, Vaude’s frame/bar bags.

Are you traveling to Pyhä-Luosto National Park, but no accommodation?
No worries, take a look at Pyhähippu‘s booking calendar to see if our cabin is available. This cottage serves as a basecamp for our Pyhä-Luosto excursions and at other times we rent it to tourists.
What about a gourmet pizza eaten in nature ?
Our pizza masters will gladly serve you with the famous (customers from Hanko to Kittilä) Ooni pizzas. We have both wood- and coal-fired camping pizza stove, so the approach from the car to the destination can be up to 2 km. The dough for the pizzas is raised for about 24 hours, which should be taken into account when making reservations. We can bake a maximum of 10 pizzas, which takes about 2 hours. According to our experience, pizza night can be done even in freezing temperatures of -20C, as long as there is a warm space next to it for working the dough.

Would you be interested in training under the guidance of a coach?
A professional degree in coaching, combined with more than a decade of experience coaching children and young people in floorball and climbing, has brought me such knowledge that I can offer customized outdoor training to improve your fitness.
I don’t think it’s much help about me for the gym, but even more so for nature exercise. Under my guidance, you can get to know, for example, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, hiking and skiing trips in the backcountry, kayaking, roller skating and climbing.

Would you be interested in digitizing your companys safety documents into a more user-friendly format ?
The outdoor guide´s training includes a “Matkailualan turvallisuuspassi” = tourism industry safety pass. This training combined with 10+ years of work experience in chemical industrys worplace and process safety and 20+ years of experience in internal auditting of quality, environmetal and occupational safety systems, as well as knowledge of up-to-date legislation and 8 years of experience as an industrial occupational health and safety representative, gives me a great starting point to help you update company´s safety documents.

Do you need help making videos?
A self-taught audiovisual specialist would be available. You can see my videos on my @alppilegenda Youtube and Instagram channels. For a couple of seasons, I have been making and producing social media Advent calendars in collaboration with Kuopio-based artist @katjataide, the most recent season has already collected more than 10k impressions on different social media channels. I have made a few safety training videos for industry. I am currently working as one of Lapland’s University of Applied Sciences social media content makers, making Reels videos for them.
